11.21.99 I Almost Forgot!
-Wouldn't want to forget about all of those guys out there helping ROEB become a reality! Now you can find the whole gang in the 'Info' section!
11.20.99 ROEB and RCLtd.
-ROEB, when I actually get started on it, will be part of the wonderful Radoactive Cows Ltd. family. More on that later.
8.23.99 Clearing things up
-Okay, in the last update, I said a few things that were left a little untouched.

First, when I said RPGMaker 95 was illegal, well that's not really a yes or a no. The original game is make in Japanese, and is freeware to my knowledge. But the version that we are using (since none of us know Japanese) has been translated by KanjiHack. Now reidman, webmaster of earthbound.net, says that this makes the translated program illegal. We don't really know.

The other thing that was left a little hazy was about whether we're using RPGMaker or not.godofcows- I'm still going to finish the demo on RPGMaker. But if I do find out for sure that RPGMaker is illegal, we'll have to use something else. I will probably be learning Visual Basic over the next four months or so, but I don't know if that will be good enough for the game. I'll make a 'Programming' section for the site pretty soon here, and hopefully someone will come to help us. Let's just cross our fingers, guys.
08.20.99 .....
-Okay, I know it's been awhile since I've updated this site, so today I decided to update it. A few things have happened so far, I finished the proposed plot, but I don't want to post it yet, if you're on the staff just e-mail me and I'll send it right over. The next thing is a little scarier, it dosen't seem that RPGMaker is going to be very good for making this game. Not only does it appear to be illegal, it dosen't give us nearly enough room for the tilesets we'll need to make the game. This means that ROEB is about to face the problem that is holding back every other PC Earthbound game...we need programmers. If you know C++ and are very good at it, please PLEASE e-mail me and tell me what you can do to help. That's it for now.
08.05.99 Hi sKaNkY!
-We now have sKaNkPiT working on MIDI background music and sound effects for our game. Also, the color problem we were having with the tilesets has been fixed. (yay)
